Football…my cup of milo

Wednesday, November 8th, 2006

Many people often question me about my passion for football. Even my mum asked me why am I interested in it when no one else in the family is. Haha… I can’t even give an answer. Football is not a game where 22 grown-ups are chasing a ball. A lot of people will think that it’s stupid to watch people chasing one ball. But if you can prove to me that (even for a second) 22 of them are chasing it together, I will never ever watch football again. It’s a game of strategy, and…well…and it’s a game! Start to develope interest in football and Arsenal when I’m still in Primary 4. Supported the team since then and idolise Ian Wright with some friends who supported McManamann (ling), Ronaldo(keat meng), Beckham(dan). Even when Wrighty went to West Ham, my love is still with Arsenal…though I started to take notice on the Hammers. So guys, when Gunners are Hammered by a last minute goal, it didnt break my heart as much as you guys hope for. LOL…my love for football continues on with some crazy supporters now (coursemates).
You may still be asking the question "Football, Huh?". Here goes the kick off…Arsenal with the ball accelerating to the front much faster than those Mat Rempits. Football doesn’t disturb the neighbourhood as much at Rempits do and it certainly will not make you fly thru the air when you hit a stone. Well…except for Robben (Chelsea) who will fall down with the slightest touch of an opposition. But for the majority of footballers, they’re certainly more skillfully fast than ‘brother Mats’. And the referee will certainly not ‘close one eye’ if there are dangerous play.  Players will get warning cards or are sent off if they dun play by the rules. So, Mr Jasin, why are lowly paid referees doing their job while highly paid people are to close ‘their eye’ on your advice?
Even rich footballers build mansion, but they wont be that brainless to build it in a low cost area. What more by blaming their architect. I certainly dont mind footballers living in castles as they play a beautiful game which entertains people. But for those who only sit in their offices thinking of marrying 4 wifes, do you think you deserve a mansion? Another thing that I like about football is how new managers protect the integrity of those that they succeed. You’ll never hear Mourinho (even when he’s an @ss) complaining much bout Vialli, Benitez bout Houllier or Mclaren on Ericsson. Every manager has their own style of football. The criticism will only brings unrest to the spectators. That’s why I prefer to read the back pages of newspapers rather than the fronts.
Oh…half time…time to order some snacks. Shall I eat pork? hmmm…too much news on beta-agonist these days. Shall I eat chicken? hmmm…bird flu, can’t be too safe. How bout teh tarik then? Contains caffeine too…By this time, the ‘Non Bangsa Malaysia’ waiter is starting to curse me for time wasting. Hey, ‘guy_who_cant_understand_English&Malay’, i guess you just understand Roti Prata, Roti Banana, Roti Rectangular eh?
Second half gonna start soon…Arsenal with their fluent football as smooth as the streamyx line. Ops! They’re facing Everton who just defends for the whole 90 minutes. People will always enjoy Arsenal for their non-stop play but there will always be opposition waiting to stop them from their smooth play. It’s hard to find a way through and that is why I’m always signing in and out of MSN. The only time that I watch Arsenal playing defensively is during their trip to Villareal, but why are they being condemn when other teams are doing it every time? Mayb life is really unfair. They’ll find a chance to criticise those who are playing by the rules.
Players and managers in EPL (English Premier League) are standing tough on their fight against racism these days. When you’re on the pitch, it doesn’t matter whether you’re black or you’re white, doesn’t matter whether you’re an English or you’re not. But somehow, people (especially Mr Pardew) will still criticise Arsenal on their lack of Englishmen. For me, if your vision is for a united team, what difference does it makes if there are only 18% or 45% Bumis….er…i mean English. The important thing is for a team to play well. If you’re not good, you cant play. As simple as that. Why the discrimination and quota stuff?
Whoa!!! What a wonderful goal by AssAnal. Watching the great goal and the way they celebrate really pumps up my adrenalin. Those guys piling up on the goal scorer, patting his back, hugging him…Anyway, for me it’s only acceptable for guys to hug during some type of celebration. Not any other time such as holding hands while on a bike. So, please think twice before doing anything with your guy fren in public. It really strain people eyes…Haha…
A football match is not just a match as it tells you more than that. Though I’m a fan of F1, i doubt that it will be as interesting as football. Even after the transformation of Iceman to Fireman…

The Three Words

I Love You…means that I accept you as the person that you are, and I don’t wish to change you to another person.

I Love You…means I am thinking and dreaming of you constantly, andhope that you feel the same for me.

I Love You…means I will shower you with all that I have, and overcomes all obstacles with you.

I Love You…means forever…

When dreams bring you happiness,
When dreams bring you tears,
When dreams bring you moments that will live on for years…
When dreams are simple,
When dreams make you giggle,
Dreams will go on till my love for you dwindle…
When dreams take away senses,
When dreams greet life with spices,
Dreams will be there within my heart spaces…

a bit karat d coz so long didnt think bout these kind of stuff…lol

Inspired by a friend…

Love,
It bridges borders,
It bridges distance,
It bridges colours,
It bridges difference,
It bridges humans,
It bridges relations,
It bridges arguments,
It bridges disagreements,
But most importantly…
It bridges US !

Love is so interesting…it’s not just about a young couple’s infatuation. It’s bout loving your religion, your parents, your neighbours…and even strangers. Life is so interesting with love! =)
